Live Concert At High School

Huntington High School

A concert featuring local musical talent will be held in the Huntington High School Auditorium on April 29th from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Admission cost is $3 for students and $5 for adults and all proceeds will help fund the Gina Linstrom Scholarship which is available to graduating seniors of Huntington High School. Tickets may be purchased prior to the event for a $1 discount and ticket numbers will be used for prize drawings throughout the concert. Donations to the scholarship fund may also be contributed directly to Texas State Bank or by contacting Tracey Bartlett, Paula Korn or Adrian Neal.

Gina (Morris) Linstrom was born in 1963 and was a Huntington High School graduate. She worked for many years at Huntington Middle School and was loved by all. After her passing in 2013, a scholarship fund was established provide much-needed scholarship money to students wanting to further their education and to honor Gina’s memory. Your financial help in supporting this worthy cause would be greatly appreciated.

It was a well-known fact that Gina Linstrom loved music, attending numerous concerts and having a very eclectic appreciation for all types of music. A concert is the perfect avenue for raising the needed funds to support the scholarship fund. There will be several talented musicians/bands performing and “Loose Gravel” will headline the concert. “Loose Gravel” consists of band members Parker Vinson, Andrew Arnold, Robbie Hughes, and Eli Box.

We encourage you to attend, spread the word, support the scholarship fund and have a great time listening to a few hours of live music. We look forward to seeing you on Saturday, April 29th at 6:00 P.M.
