No fooling, Royce Treadaway and Henry Sargent put on an April Fools Day limit that weighed in at 19.74 lbs to win the Patriots Challenge weekend series tournament. Second place went Raymond Isbell and Mike Harrison with 17.97 lbs and third place went to the father and son team of Charles and Jason Evans who managed to land 15.71 lbs on a fairly tough day of fishing.
Bass appear to be in both spawning and post spawning patterns with jerk baits and flukes a favorite among the leaders, however everyone had a different story that went from weightless Senkos, cranks, spinnerbaits and on and on.
The participants were thanked and reminded of their support for our Veterans and the role that simply taking them fishing has and in particular those suffering from trauma or are in hospice care.
