Popular Diboll Restaurant Opens in Huntington

A very popular Mexican restaurant in Diboll has recently brought it’s tasty traditional Mexican dishes to Huntington for everyone here to enjoy! Los Jarritos Mexican Restaurant has opened a second location on Main Street in our town.

To welcome this well known restaurant to our community, the Huntington Economic Development Advisory Committee (EDC) held a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on July 27th in honor of this establishment.

Most of the EDC Committee was present for this event as was Huntington City Administrator Bill Stewart. Mr. Steward had the honor of holding the ribbon as owner Juliet Danini Galvan made the official cut to officially open the restaurant.

Los Jarritos of course serves up some very tasty tacos, tamales and nachos but they also have shrimp enchiladas, chicken or beef fajitas, beef chimichangas, chicken quesadillas, etc.. And the queso, salsa and chips are fresh!

Carlos Galvan, Juliet’s husband and also business partner, is very particular as to how his restaurant’s food is to be cooked. He can often be found back in the kitchen with the cooks supervising what is coming off the grill. He wants his customers to have only the very best food possible which is evident when you sink your teeth into your order. Everything is superb!

Los Jarritos is located on the corner of Main Street and Ricks Street in Huntington (next to Centennial Park). The waitstaff is quick and extremely friendly. The portions are huge and the prices are very reasonable. There is no reason for you to not stop by and try out this new restaurant in town.

They are open Monday through Saturday opening for lunch at 11:00 am. So go on by to say ‘Hi”, eat some excellent Mexican food and tell them you heard all about them in this newspaper. Make them feel at home!
