New Fishing Tournament Series Comes To Lake Sam Rayburn

Big Dawg Outfitters is pleased to announce that Sunday February 3rd, 2019 will be the kick off for it’s new fishing tournament series on Lake Sam Rayburn going out of Cassels-Boykin. Registration begins at 5:00am the day of the tournament at the Pavilion in Cassels-Boykin and the fishing begins at 6:00am. The 1st, 2nd, 3rd flights weigh-in is at 3:00pm and must be in the no wake zone. Scales open at 12:00pm and there is a 5 fish limit.
The 2019 Tournaments Series will have a two tier registration. 1st Tier will be for the Top Anglers that have won more than $2500 in the calendar Year from Feb 2018 - Feb 2019. The entry fee is $200 per team. First Place is guaranteed $5000. Big Bass will pay out 10% of the entry fee and the pay out for 1st will be 50% , 2nd 50%, 3rd 50%, 4th $500, 5th $500, 6th $300, and 7th $200. This is based on 75 entry’s.
2nd Tier will be for anglers that have not won more then $2500 in a calendar year. Entry fee is $50 per team - $25 Big Bass. Big Bass will pay $150 plus $500-$1000 in prizes. Pay out for 2nd Tier will be 1st Place 50%, 2nd 50%, 3rd 50%, 4th 50% of entry fee. Prizes and $$$ depend on entries. If not enough entries prizes could change.
Places added for every 10 entries. There will also be $200-$500 worth of entry door prizes and every paid angler gets a chance to win a prize at the weigh-in. You must be present to win.
Even weight bass will be paid as such - 6lb. $500 in Lew’s TP-1 Rods from BD Outfitters; 7lb. $500 cash from Real Graphics and 8lb. $1000 cash from Wanna Be Fishing. Only one bass can be weighed in per boat per tournament for the even weight.
Big Dawg Outfitters has the right to Disqualify anyone that does not show Good Sportsmanship and Conservation rules.
The 2019 series schedule for is: February 3rd; March 3rd; April 7th; May 5th; June 2nd; July 14th; August 11th; and September 8th. So mark your calendars now.
Big Dawg Outfitters has worked hours and hours since last September to make this series the best it can be! There will be free BBQ for all the Anglers and Scott Ray with Super Tunes Reels and Rayburn Performance Marine will be on site to help with any boat issues that you might have. You are not going to want to miss this!
